This is a website for kids who like to play, discover and create.
Braincells is hosting Coach, a series of interviews, activities and games designed with the help of 20 Olympic athletes and coaches. The website is free to schools, libraries and families. Celebrate the Winter Games with Brain Cells!
Ever Active Schools
This amazing organization had its genesisi as a special project of HPEC of the Alberta Teachers Association. Ever Active Schools (EAS) partners with school communities through the provision of the following supports and services:
critical reflection tools; planning assistance; sharing and networking; resources; recognition; professional development; promising/best practice gathering and sharing.

Alberta Coalition for Healthy School Communities (ACHSC)
is a registered non-profit society representing a network of individuals and organizations committed to promoting and fostering healthy school communities through comprehensive school health.
Alberta School Athletics Association
is a voluntary, non profit organization that has been established to coordinate a program of worthwhile athletic activities for the young people of Alberta in an educational setting. The membership, currently 358 high schools, ultimately determines the policy of the Association through representation on the provincial Board of Governors. Contact the ASAA for information on athletic opportunities, coaching, volunteers, policy handbooks, rule books, etc.
The Physical Educator's RESOURCE
PhysEd Source is an online directory that aims to provide useful web links and other helpful resources for professionals in the field of physical education.
Such subheadings such as Individual Sports, Dance, Gymnastics, Outdoor Activities, Team Sports and adapted phys. ed. are researched with salient links provided. For example, under the individual sports heading is cycling. Under cycling is a link for a bicycle safety teacher's package, where you will find a 24 page pdf on bicycle safety developed by the Toronto Public Health Bicycle Safety Workgroup.
